Lifetime X Salazar
The Road Trip
Lifetime and Salazar traveled over 3000 miles via van, boat, and foot across the American wilderness. This is the first in a two part video to celebrate Lifetime Collective’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Directed by Salazar with music provided by Thee Oh Sees. We think the video does a great job capturing the joys of summer. Beautiful!

Designer for Tomorrow

As part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, Peek & Cloppenburg is hosting the fashion talent award “Designer for Tomorrow by Peek & Cloppenburg Duesseldorf” since 2009. The award provides a visible platform for creativity, giving the best emerging talent the opportunity to present themselves. P&C sponsors the award winner with a tailor-made, long-term program for almost a year. As patron Marc Jacobs supports the “Designer for Tomorrow” award this year and has been accompanying the entire programme right from the beginning. The highlight will take place on 6th of July 2011 at the awards show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, when the finalists show their collections in front of an audience. Together with a panel of experts, Marc Jacobs will select the “Designer for Tomorrow 2011″. Parasol Island created the new online appearance & most of the content. Stay tuned for updates.

But Mirrors
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who in the land is the sportiest of all? The new model of the top-selling Ford S-MAX may not be a Formula One car, but is an exclusive combination of premium sports styling, enhanced dynamic ability and functional excellence. Ford feels you shouldn’t have to sacrifice driving pleasure for practicality. Ogilvy Düsseldorf wanted a spot presenting the advantages of the new S-MAX in the right light so we whipped out our magic wonder and built a world full of glassy typography to reflect the cars finesse. Letters and glass surfaces act as a playground for the S-MAX. Furthermore, optical refractions and perspective jumps create a complex visual experience.

RunPrime
DDB Tribal Berlin came up with a nice & edgy idea for a spot showcasing the Reebok RunPrime for Kids. A brief summary of this particular brainchild would be: Create a visual world showing that kids can rely on their Reeboks no matter how active they are.
We were ready for a run and produced a stop motion masterpiece under the special direction of Matt Cooper, introducing “the shoe that fits you no matter what you do” to the US market. Frame by frame and with painstaking attention to detail, the spot arose with a refreshing and unique hand-made edge.

Iron
Sometimes a video is too beautiful to pass up. This can surely be said for Woodkid a.k.a. Yoann Lemoine‘s “Iron,” a majestic, horn-backed track deserving of this fantastic visual treatment. This music video is one to follow and worth to watch several times. Lemoine’s more known for his work behind the camera, directing music videos like Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream.” Yeah, that Katy Perry.
